Invoices
Check whether an invoice arrived
After you send an invoice, Summit follows the email and shows how it went. Open the invoice on Invoices, or look at its card under Issued.

The statuses
- Sent: the email has left Summit. Delivery confirmation usually follows within minutes.
- Delivered: your client's mail server accepted it, and so did your bookkeeping address if you've set one. That doesn't mean it has been read, but it arrived.
- Not delivered: the email bounced, for example because the address doesn't exist or the mailbox is full.
- Partly delivered: one of the two arrived and the other didn't. The card says which: Customer delivery failed or Bookkeeping delivery failed.
When your client didn't get it
- Check the address in the error message. Is it wrong? Open the client, choose Edit and correct the Invoice email.
- Open the invoice again and choose Resend.
The invoice keeps its number and PDF; only the email goes out again, to the current address.
If the address was right, the problem is on your client's side, such as a full mailbox or a spam filter. Ask them, and resend when it's fixed.
When the bookkeeping copy failed
Your client has the invoice, so nothing needs to happen for them. Check your Bookkeeping email in Settings. You can always download the invoice yourself and pass it on. See Download an invoice as PDF or UBL.
